Michele Daly and Andrew Charleson are working with Indonesian partners to help improve resilience to earthquakes and other natural disasters for many people and their communities in Indonesia. Their presentations and our discussions with them are especially valuable in the wake of the recent devastating earthquakes in Lombok, which now has the major challenges of recovery and reconstruction.
This special presentation is being provided in collaboration with the Wellington based Natural Hazards Inc network which has been active in developing relationships and initiatives with Indonesian partners since the Aceh 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami.
Anyone welcome to attend!
We are happy to take donations to send to a reliable source to help with the humanitarian relief in Lombok.
